Light rail baby!!

No literally, we took our babies on the light rail this past tuesday (Johnny's 2nd birthday!).  It was actually fun, we talked to people we probably wouldn't normally talk to outside of an insane asylum, smelled rank liquor breath and enjoyed the other thrills only public transportation can offer.  We were also informed by an enthusiastic homeless looking gentleman of pending economic policy which we both found very interesting.

Our only stop (Central/Roosevelt) was the fair trade cafe.  There I enjoyed one of the best bran muffins ever and the job of constantly pleading for Emma to "stop touching"  I finally relented and bought her one of the super cute and socially responsible little cars she was playing with and it's a good thing because by the end of the visit it was broken.   I really liked the place, or at least what I was able to absorb of it with my attentions being constantly diverted to a potential disaster every 2 minutes- next time I'm coming alone or with other adults.  Bottom line, grab a friend get on the light rail and stop here for a delish lunch and coffee or tea.  (Posted by Jenn)

A nerdy holiday

We really are a diverse group of people, we have one thing in common, can you guess? That’s right we’re all proud nerds. There’s even a gangsta nerd in the bunch; thanks Rosie for keepin’ it real. Happy Holidays to all the nerds out there!!

Nerds at Bomberos

We really do try our best to keep our nerdiness within when we're meeting people for dinner. Fortunately for Jenn and I, Danielle (from Sweet Pea Bakery) embraced the nerd within and joined us for a photo-op on the random Vespa inside of Bomberos.

The food at Bomberos is awesome! My favorite was the tapenade bruschetta. The decor is really cool and where else can you find a 10' x 15' mirror leaning against the wall while you stuff your face? I couldn't help but check to see if I had olives in my teeth during dinner.

creative...together!

YESSSSSSSSSSSS!  You guys love nerds too!  We had so much fun out at the Wigwam shooting pics to promote our and some of our friends businesses- Jolie Jour Flowers, Ventola Photography, Paperjoy and Sweet Pea Bakery.  I love gettin' creative with Kym!

Is that a gingerbread house or what?

We had a blast decorating the gingerbread house with the kids.

They are true artists and can you believe they like candy? I know.....it's shocking.

Seriously, what do you expect from 2 nerds like Jenn and I?
How in the world do you get icing to seal a heavy cookie like that? It's a joke. I think the professionals secretly use cement or something.

So this is officially my first post on this blog! I'm so excited for the future of 2 Nerds in Phoenix! Just wait for some action-packed, mind-blowing, butt-kicking, jaw-dropping photos. Just kidding....but they'll be fun.
